A Beautiful Mind

In the movie A Beautiful Mind the main character John Nash was Schizophrenic. He had many examples of Maladaptive, Unjustifiable, Disturbing, Atypical.

Unjustifiable- one of his unjustifiable moments in the movie is when he almost drowned the baby because he believed that charles was watching the baby.
Atypical- John nash had been seeing a guy named parcher who had put a code into his arm that he would use for work and one day in the hospital he was cutting and digging into his arm to try to find it and he was not seeing it.
Maladaptive- he didn't want to go into the room with the pens because in the begining of the movie he had been told not to go in there because they were having a pen ceremoni.
Disturbing- when nash had imagined that parcher was going to shoot his wife.

Dreams & Latent Content

Some reoccuring dreams I have had are, I was driving down a road with my parents on a trip to minnesota and then we drove the car off of a cliff. the interpretation of this dream is, it states your emotions. I may have deep anxieties and or fears. Also this dream is trying to tell me to slow down what i am doing in life and Ineed to reset my actions and get on the right path. This also tells me that I should avoid similar situations that was in my dream.
Another dream I have had I was of a golf course golfing and I got hit with a golf kart and broke my legs and got a concussion. this dream symbolizes that I have weakness in my planning or thining. or that I have some flaw in my actions.
One of my last dreams I have had has been I was pulled over for drunk driving when I was 15. Then I had given the police man $10.00 and he left me go.This dream is telling me i need to take time off of my busy schedule and laying low on activities that cause me to stress.

bullying and harassment

Yes, i really never noticed that much bullying at our school. But now watching that video i could easily find bullying now is our school. I never knew what alot of bullying could do. I believe there is a difference between teasing and bullying, because teasing the kid being teased will be laughing and having a good time and unacceptable bullying the kid being teased might be depressed and crying. i could change some of my behaviors because i tease some kids but i dont bully them if they ask me to stop i stop. some of my friends i tease alot but if i dont know the person i dont tease or bully. If i seen a huge bullying problem i would probably step in to help the kid out who was getting bullied.

Twilight Zone Reaction

The twilight zone episode was very weird. I kind of assumed that the people doing the surgery were ugly. I also assumed that the girl under the bandages was good looking. The episode was weird because they wouldn't show the doctors faces.
Beauty is subjective, because some people might think your beautiful and then some people may not. it is all what the people see in you. Because beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I really dont look at the beauty stand point of people i look at their personality.

Roles

In class when i was playing the role of band kid, i really didn't feel any different. but i had to adjust about talking about band and not really picking on people like i sometimes do. i also had to sit in front of the class because normall bands kids sit in the front.


Zimbardos experiment surprised me because the prisoners really went to far into the act. But the guards i believe really pushed the prisoners to go into their mental state that they were in. i actually feel bad for the prisoners because of how they were treated. If i was a guard i wouldn't have really treated the prisoners with meaness like the guards did.
I really dont believe that the Prison study wasn't a good representation of how it actually was. I wouldn't have really done what he did just to see some facts.
